CSS for Forum Wrap

I'm a novice in CSS. Now I spruced up the site as best as I could but I want to apply a semi-transparent background to the body of the forum that way people can see the text that is not on a module.
I'll take care of the image though. I want to apply a 1 x 1 pixel square and have it multiply across the body.
Does anyone know the CSS for that?
